My real work and the rain kept me indoors today, but something great came of it.....mini apple tarts! They got the "two thumbs up" rating from all my guys. Jacob said "you should totally sell these".....the kid's pretty smart! I made another batch, along with full pies and some scones to sell at our local farmer's market.
I love our little town of Bigfork, and the small but fun farmer's market. We have had our stand several times this summer and have been very well received. Along with the pies and baked goods, which I totally love making, we have been selling fruit from our orchard. My oldest has been working along side of me to earn his own money for the middle school trip to Washington DC!
