This weekend, after several years of waiting and dreaming, I was able to attend the Copic Certification workshops. I traveled to Portland to learn from the uber-talented Sherrie Siemens.
Two days of child-free, husband-free, no cooking, cleaning or laundry days to color to my heart's content!
I love that we got great instruction on light, shading, creating depth and also some skin and hair coloring techniques. I'm still lacking confidence in the hair department, but I have to practice, practice, practice!
I posted a cardstock comparison over on the CutCardStock blog, along with a 15% coupon code for the cardstock that turned out to be my favorite for coloring with Copic markers. Be sure to check it out!
Now I just have to convince my husband that I need to expand my Copic collection....
