Goodbye to the Spring/Summer Collection....

Tomorrow is a BIG day... the first day to place orders from the new, fabulous Fall/Winter catalog. With each new catty, Stampin' Up! continues to amaze me with their incredible art work and cutting edge perspectives on stamps and accessories. I can't wait to get my first order placed, and even more so for Mr. Brown to bring me the SU! box. Even though the ordering period has ended for the Spring/Summer catalog, I waited until today to say so long to my old friend. Yes, she's well worn in and has been slightly abused, but always in a loving way. She has inspired me and cost me lots of money (not too much, honey!). We've had a good run, but I'm all about out with the old, in with the new (thankfully hubby doesn't feel that way.... we'll soon be celebrating our 9th anniversary!). So now, it's goodbye..... it was Groovy Guava; I'll always be Wild about Wasabi; I won't cry a River Rock nor sing Blue Bayou; I'll simply admire the Soft Sky and have Pure memories of Pomegranate! (A little corny, I know, but I'm a sap - what can I say?)

I did take some time this afternoon to work on a little card to send in to the 1st grade teacher on the first day of school. I think she'll like using the paperclips.... she can even use them as bookmarks. I had some lighting issues when I took the photo, so the apples look neon, but they are just watercolored with Real Red... they look good in real life. Thanks for stopping by.... Enjoy!
