Springtime Poppies

Today I have a very simple card to share with you.  When I decided to make it, I knew I wanted to keep things very simplistic and clean.  In a way, the card is helping me send the message to "slow down, take time and smell the flowers"; a message that often needs to be shared with others!

I stamped my image (from Stampin Up! | Pleasant Poppies) with Tuxedo Black Momento ink on a Cougar White A7 flat card.

I colored in the flowers and the stems and added a very slight shadowing under the heads of the flowers using W0 Warm Gray No. 0.

To finish it off, I simply added some coral colored ribbon around the bottom of the card and paired it up with a Basis A7 envelope in "Coral".
