You Rock, Valentine!

So I told my boys "anyone can get Transformer or Iron Man Valentines from the store.... let's make different Valentines this year!"  They agreed and immediately ditched me for some video game.  I was left to find some crafty, creative idea to impress a bunch of 1st and 3rd graders.

I stumbled upon a brilliant idea over at the eighteen25 blog and I knew right away it was perfect for us!

Pretty simple.... I added the text to the photo in Photoshop Elements and then printed a sheet of them; they are 2 x 3.  Punched a couple of holes right around the boy's hand and then slipped in a Dum Dum.  Hopefully the kids in their classes will like them!

Now these are COOL Valentine's! I love how his hand extends out giving almost a 3-D effect. I think these will go over well! :)

These are darling! I better navigate away quickly though...my 5 year old is looking over my shoulder and I don't want her to get any ideas! I am NOT good with photo editing!!

These are awesome! So much better than the store bought ones (although I store bought them this year....) I wish I would have seen your idea earlier.
